This potato soup is a classic soup which is easy to make, and it tastes very good combined with Wiener sausages or Frankfurters.

Potato and Wiener Sausage Curry Soup instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes cutting them into 1 cm cubes, soak them in water for more than 5 minutes, and drain. Cut the sausages into 1cm circular pieces..

  2. Warm oil in a pot, add the sausages and potatoes, and fry over medium heat for 1-2 minutes..

  3. Add 200 ml of water at high heat, and cover with a lid. Reduce the heat after bringing it to a boil, and simmer it covered with a lid for another 3-4 minutes..

  4. Add the curry roux once the potatoes have mostly softened, and stir lightly until it dissolves..

  5. Add milk stirring occasionally, and heat over a low medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste, and turn off the heat after bringing it to a simmer..

  6. Serve into bowls..

Warm the oil and butter together in a saucepan and add the chopped onion.

Cover with a lid and cook over a medium heat for a few mins before adding the curry powder.
