  1. Preheat oven to 300°F..

  2. Boil macaroni in lightly salted water until done (al dente).

  3. Drain and rinse with cool water in a large colander..

  4. Spoon a 1" layer of macaroni in a 9x13 baking dish..

  5. Spoon a layer of the stewed tomatoes and juice onto top of macaroni..

  6. Sprinkle with ground clove. (medium application).

  7. Apply one layer of cheese. (cut into 1/4 slices).

  8. Repeat layering until youve used all ingredients..

  9. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour..

  10. This goes great with Thanksgiving Turkey or Christmas Ham..

While elbows are boiling, in large saucepan, heat butter and cheese until melted.

Heat until thoroughly melted and blended.

Add more buttermilk to just the top of elbows.
