Kushari (Egyptian khitchri) instructions

  1. Boil pasta in water with salt..

  2. When its cook drain water after rinsing cold water and keep aside..

  3. Soak lentil in water 3 to 4 hrs..

  4. Then boil in clean waterand add red cilli pwder and salt..

  5. When it soft but not mashy take out in a bowl after drying all the water..

  7. When its turned brown add rice and sautay then add salt and cook with desire water according to ur rice till done..

  9. Remove skin and add them in blender along with that add garlic cloves and green chillies and blend it…

  10. In other pan heated oil fry one chopped onion golden brown.

  11. Add red chilli and salt and blended tomatoes and bhunify it..

  12. Cook till oil seperated but after that add water to make desire consistancy..

  13. In heated oil fry one sliced onion till golden brown.

  14. Take out in a bowl.

  15. In the same fry pan fry some garlic golden brown.

  18. Then spread one layer of pasta.

  19. Then pour tomato sauce.
