Easiest Way to Prepare Tasty Lauki Moong khichdi Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Moong dal khichdi, is a very basic and healthy food.
Every house hold has their own recipe for khichdi.
At my home khichdi was made with split moong dal and rice.

Ingredients of Lauki Moong khichdi

It’s of rice, soaked.

Prepare of green moong lentil.

You need of bottle gourd, cubed.

You need of tomato, chopped.

It’s of onion, chopped.

You need of ginger grated.

You need of peppercorns.

I have added the laucki (ghia, opo squash, bottle gourd), to make this a more complete one dish and one pot meal.
Moong daal is also considered as as a healing food if you are unwell.
If any one is suffering from Indigestion, Diarrhea, Acidity,bloating, fever ,after any surgery moong daal can be given as a part of diet food.
You can make daal,khichdi,pakora, cheela or roti with moong daal.
Lauki Moong khichdi instructions

Heat oil in cooker, add cumin seeds, peppercorns, cloves and green chilli, after few seconds add onions, fry it till translucent..

Add tomato and ginger, then add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder mix well..

Then add moong dal and bottle gourd and rice two cup water and cover and cook for 2-3 whistles..

Serve hot with curd..
Lauki is again a very healthy vegetable.
