Wash and soak the dalia and dal for 15 mins. Keep aside.

Heat a pressure cooker add ghee, jeera saute, then add sliced onions fry till translucent. Then add the chopped carrot and peas saute for a few mins. Then add ginger chilli paste and stir fry for 2 mins..

Then add haldi powder, chilli powder and garam masala powder and salt and mix well stir fry for few mins. Then add the soaked dalia and dal and mix it well. Add 3 cups hot water and cook first on high flame till 1st whistle and then on a medium flame for 2 whistles..
