Multigrain Khichdi. This delicious one-pot dish is high in protein and fiber! Traditionally, khichdi is made with basmati rice and mung beans. This modified recipe incorporates brown rice, and other whole grains and adds a generous serving of vegetables.

You can cook Multigrain Khichdi using 25 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Ingredients of Multigrain Khichdi

  1. It’s of rice.

  2. It’s of moong chilka.

  3. You need of cup jawar.

  4. It’s of cup bajri.

  5. You need of cup ragi.

  6. It’s of finely chopped onion.

  7. It’s of finely chopped tomato.

  8. Prepare of finely chopped capsicum.

  9. You need of green chilli pieces.

  10. You need of carrot dice.

  11. You need of French beans finely chopped.

  12. Prepare of peas.

  13. It’s of Peanuts.

  14. It’s of Oil.

  15. You need of Mustard seeds half tbsp.

  16. It’s of Cumin seeds.

  17. You need of Asafoetida.

  1. Soak rice and all grains for 2 hours. Heat oil in cooker. Add mustard seeds to it and let it sputter. Then add cumin seeds and curry leaves to it. Let it crackle for few seconds. Then add asafoetida. Now put onion in it and saute well till it becomes golden brown in colour. Then add tomatoes to it. Then add all veggies to it..

  2. Add above mention masala to it. Saute for a minute and add water to it. And whistle it 5 times on medium flame. Our multigrain khichdi is ready now..

Thus babies may get fussy, but that doesn't mean you can't feed them khichdi.
