Easiest Way to Cook Perfect Rava Khichdi Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Rava Khichdi. Rava kichadi is a South Indian breakfast preparation. I do add some veggies in it to give some texture and nutrition. The veggies that can be added to this dish are capsicum (shimla mirch or bell pepper), french beans, green peas (matar) and carrots.

Rava khichdi is super tasty breakfast and is one of my absolute favorite as well.

This rava khichdi is easy to make and is so worth trying.

  2. Prepare of water.

  1. Dry roast rava/ sooji till aromatic. Set aside. Heat oil in pan roast cashews until golden brown. Remove and keep aside..

  2. Chop vegetables and cook separately. Set aside..

  3. Heat oil in same kadai, add ginger, onion and fennel powder. Saute till translucent..

  4. Next add green chillies and tomato. Cook till mushy..

  7. When it starts boiling, lower flame slowly add the rava stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Add ghee and serve hot..
