  1. Mashed yellow sweet corn in the grinder…

  2. In pan add oil & heat it, then add mustard seeds, after its start crackle add hing…

  3. Add garlic & chilli paste & saute….

  4. Add mashed corn & mix well… Now add turmeric powder & salt & mix well…cook it for 2-3 min…

  5. Add milk, mix well..& cover the lid and cook about 3 min…

  6. Cook till milk completely absorbed & oil start leaving the sides…

  7. Now add sugar & lemon juice..& mix well.. cook for 1 min…

  8. Now its ready to serve….

Don't get confused by the word chivda or chevdo.

This is not dry kind which we make during the diwali like cornflakes chivda, cereal chivda or poha chivda.

This is wet version and made from fresh corn or frozen.

The taste of makai chevdo is medium spicy with perfect balanced sweet and tangy taste.

The spicy taste comes from green chilies only.
