Khichdi instructions

  1. Take a bowl add Rice or Moong Dal wash and soaked for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes drain the water and set a side.

  2. Add rice or Dal to a pressure cooker and around 4 cup water add salt haldi Hing pressure cooker on high heat 5 to 6 whistle.the Dal or rice cook mushy..

  3. Now tadka take a pan add oil musterd seed, Cumin seeds, saute 1 sec.now add Green chilli and tomato cook for 2 minutes tomato looks mushy..

  4. Now add pour the tadka Khichdi and mix it well..

  5. Garinsh with Coriander leaves.or ghee..

  6. Serve with kadhi.

It requires only rice, split mung beans, various warming spices, and ghee—ingredients I always have around and that tend to keep for a while.

Khichdi or khichri is an Indian one pot lentil and rice dish that's vegetarian, easy to digest and wholesome.

Done right, it can be incredibly tasty and may become your favourite comfort food.
