  9. Now add haldi & salt, stir fry it for a while..

  10. Add garam masala powder, again stir it..

  11. Now add water accordingly so as to keep the khichdi dry. Add sugar also..

  12. Place the lid, give 4 -5 whistles..

  13. Switch off the flame, take out in a serving dish..

  14. Have it with desi ghee, dahi, achaar, chutney, salad or papad..
