Wash daal and rice and put it in pressure cooker add water, salt, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, red chilli paste and cook it for 1-2 vessels..

For tadka heat the pan add mustard oil, once heated add garlic, chilli and cuminseed. Serve with desi ghee.
This recipe uses beaten curd and boondi as base ingredients and makes it more taste buds friendly with the right amount of salt, red chilli powder and cumin powder.
