Recipe: Tasty Thai Spring Rolls Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Thai Spring Rolls. It's always a little nerve-wracking to be the first person to try out a recipe but these were delicious. I'm not big on the sauce in the recipe however. I paired these rolls with the Indonesian Satay recipe from this site.

This classic Thai spring rolls recipe results in hot and crunchy rolls with a flavorful filling.

A great tasting filling really is the key to spring roll success.

Part of what makes that happen is the fact that the filling ingredients are stir-fried before they're rolled.

Ingredients of Thai Spring Rolls

  1. Prepare 2 of chicken breasts.

  2. You need 2 of tofu.

  3. It’s 200 grams of minced pork.

  4. You need 6 of sliced of ham.

  5. It’s 1 of cabbage/medium size.

  6. You need 150 grams of beans sprout or sunflower sprouts.

  7. It’s 1 of carrots.

  8. You need 1 of onion, chopped.

  9. Prepare 1 bunch of spring onion.

  10. It’s 400 grams of dry vermicelli.

  11. It’s 1 packages of spring rolls wrapper,30 sheets at room temperature.

  12. It’s of seasoning.

  13. You need 3 tbsp of oyster sauce.

  14. You need 3 tbsp of sesame oil.

  15. It’s 1 of salt and pepper to taste.

  16. It’s 1 tsp of sugar.

  17. You need 3 clove of garlic.

  18. It’s 2 tbsp of soya sauce.

  19. You need of eggs mixture.

  20. You need 1 of egg.

  21. It’s 2 tbsp of water.

  22. It’s 1/2 tbsp of flour.

Welcome guests to your table with a bouquet of fresh spring rolls.

This Thai recipe for fresh rolls is simple to put together, and also can be made vegetarian.

Place about a heaped tablespoon of filling onto a wrapper.

Fold like an envelope and roll up, sealing with the spring roll glue.

Thai Spring Rolls step by step

  1. Prepare all ingredients,shred cabbage,sliced carrot,onion,clean bean sprout,dice chicken,ham,tofu,seperate into 2 bowls : meat and vegetables,soak vermicelli in water,chop spring onion( seperate from other vegetables ),crush garlic.

  2. In large sauce pan ,heat vegetables oil or any oil you prefer,brown garlic,follow with meats,including minced pork,stir to mix,lets all ingredients cooked.

  3. Add vegetables ,stir to mix.

  4. Seasoning,add vermicelli,mix well,when vermicelli soft add spring onion,heat off and allow to cool.

  5. Mix all eggs mixtureingredients ,use this to seal the rolls.

  1. Deep fried on medium heat until golden ,make sure oil is cover all rolls.

  2. Slice each rolls into 3 pieces to serve with Thai sweet chili sauce,if you not slice surely will burn your lips,hope you enjoy making this.

Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.

Heat enough vegetable oil in a saucepan for deep frying.
