I made this burfi yesterday, i had some leftover khoya and i used that to make this delicious melt in mouth besan khoya burfi.

The burfi tasted way different from normal gram flour mysorepak.

Besan, also known as gram flour, is flour made from "channa" or yellow dried chickpeas.

Remove from flame, add the nuts, cardamom powder and mix well.

  1. Keep ready all your ingredients..

  2. Take a non-stick pan and start roasting besan and milk powder. Add ghee also mix and stir continuously to avoid any kind of burning. Add ghee also and stir..

  3. You can adjust ghee in between whenever you feel that it requires a bit more. When it starts giving nice aroma and colour changes into little golden brown, add Cardamom powder and condensed milk. Mix it nicely, quickly and continuously to avoid any lump. when the mix will start leaving the sides of pan its done..

  4. I have dry roasted almonds and seeds. Now take a greased plate and spread the mix nicely all over it. Garnish with thinly sliced almonds and seeds. Let it be cool completely..

  5. Now you can cut this into square or diamond shape pieces as per your wish. Enjoy!!.
