  1. Wash and Soak dal with enough water for 15 mins. Keep dry roasted Daliya and Chopped vegetables aside..

  2. Heat ghee/oil in a pressure cooker, add hing, cumin seeds, mustard seeds. Let it crackle, then add onion, saute for 2 mins. Add tomatoes too and cook till mushy..

  3. Now add all vegetables, saute for 2 mins. Add Daliya and soaked dal too, mix well and satue for 2 more mins. Then add 3 cups of water and boils it. Close the lid and cook to 3 whistles..

  4. Vegetable daliya khichdi is ready. Serve with curd, papad and pickle..
