First of all soak peas overnight or for 4 to 5 hours then drain the water and cook peas in cooker by adding little salt and 1/2tsp turmeric powder and take 4 to 5 whistle..

Now add all the spices, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and usal masala, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes..

Now add boiled peas to gravy, and add some water as per your requirements. And add lemon juice to usal. And boil for 5 minutes now usal is ready to serve..
