Recipe: Appetizing Sambhar Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Sambhar. Some variations of sambhar include ingredients such as moong dal and pumpkin. Since a variety of mixed vegetables are also used to make sambhar it becomes nutrient rich. Sambar recipe shared here is the one which has been followed by my mum for several decades.

I have tried so many recipes of sambhar before but to no avail.

Ingredients of Sambhar

  1. Prepare 1 cup of arhar daal soaked and boiled.

  2. You need 5-6 of lady's finger.

  3. It’s 1 of brinjal sliced.

  4. Prepare 1 of drum stick.

  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.

  6. You need 2 tbsp of sambar masala.

  7. Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli Powder.

  10. You need 1 tsp of tamarind pulp.

  11. You need To taste of salt and sugar.

  12. It’s As needed of oil.

Sambhar instructions

  1. Heat oil and temper cumin seed,mustard seeds and curry leaves.
