Cook pork chops till brown on both sides..

Remove pork chops from skillet..

Add diced onion to skillet and cook till translucent..

Add flour and stir for about 1 minute..

Meanwhile combine beer, ketchup, thyme, and brown sugar in a bowl..

Put pork chops back in skillet with onions and pour sauce mixture in and add bay leaf..

Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes till sauce thickens. Flip pork chops once while cooking..
The pork chops are tender and flavorful and smothered in a decadent sauce.
