When i was looking for dinner inspiration online, i came across a picture of a spicy chicken curry served with some naan.

I got so inspired from that so i made it almost immediately.

  1. Prepare 1/2 kg of chicken.

  2. You need 3 of onions.

  3. Prepare 1 cup of cashews.

  4. Prepare 2 tbsp of magaj.

  5. You need to taste of Whole garam masala.

  6. You need 1 bowl of curd.

  7. You need 2 of green chillies.

  8. Prepare 5-7 of Garlic cloves.

  9. Prepare 1 piece of Ginger.

  10. It’s To taste of Chicken masala.

  11. Prepare to taste of Salt.

  12. You need 1/2 TSP of Garam masala powder.

  13. Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.

Afghani chicken instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in curd with salt, garam masala powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, chicken masala… keep aside for 1hour…

  2. Roughly chop onions,put in a kadhai along with cashews and magaz, whole garam masala, green chillies..add some water,boil for 10minutes,,now let it cool…..find it to make a fine paste….

  3. Add some oil in a kadhai. Add jeera and one text patta then add this fine paste. Saute till 5-7min.then add marinated chicken,cook on high for5min..

  4. Then slow down the gas stove..let it cook till chicken is tender and soft…at last add kasuri methi (a little) and add fresh cream….

  5. Chicken is ready to serve.
