Malay Style Fried rice. I usually cook Malay-style fried rice. If you didn't have all the ingredients, it is okay. In Malaysia and Indonesia, fried rice is known as nasi goreng, and it is one of my favorite comfort foods.

Flavorful fried chicken is accompanied with a savory sweet chili sauce and served with white rice steamed in chicken stock and aromatics, with a side of chicken soup to wash it all down.

So good, the whole meal with the lovely fried chicken and of course I can't say no to rice and Malay style of food.

  2. It’s of Prawns, minced chicken.

  3. It’s 2 tablespoons of chili paste.

  4. Prepare 2 tablespoons of mashed/blended onions.

  5. It’s of Mashed garlic and anchovies.

  6. Prepare of Oyster sauce, soy sauce.

  7. You need of Vegetables or Chili padi (optional).

  8. It’s of Salt.

Malay Style Fried rice step by step

  1. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil into a frying pan. Add mashed garlic & anchovies, fry it for 2-3minutes..

  2. Add onions and chili paste. Leave it for 4-5minutes and add prawns/minced chicken. Add some oyster sauce and soy sauce..

  3. Mix and wait until it is cooked. Add salt and leave it for a while before you add the rice..

  4. Lastly add an egg, wait until it is half cooked and mix it well with the rice..

  5. Now your fried rice is ready to eat! You can also add some fried anchovies or fried egg on top of it and enjoy!.
