Recipe: Yummy Picadillo Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Picadillo. Ground beef, onions, green bell peppers, garlic and tomatoes, stewed together and seasoned with cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves. Can be served alone or with rice. There is a Cuban restaurant in the Miami Airport called La Carreta.

This spicy picadillo recipe mixes ground beef with tomato sauce, fried potatoes, raisins, and green olives.

It’s fantastic with corn bread or warm tortillas.

In a large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

You can have Picadillo using 10 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Picadillo

  1. You need 2 Pounds of Ground Beef.

  2. You need 2 of spanish onion , small - sized , diced.

  9. Prepare 1 1/2 Cups of olives spanish green.

  10. It’s 1/2 Cup of nonpareil capers.

Add the tomatoes, apple, raisins and seasonings; mix well.
