Recipe: Delicious Spicy Egg Puff Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Ingredients of Spicy Egg Puff

  1. It’s 2 1/2 cup of All-purpose flour.

  2. You need 1 tsp of Yeast.

  3. It’s of Sugar 1 tsp+3 tsp.

  4. You need 1/4 cup of Lukewarm water.

  5. Prepare 1/4 cup of Milk.

Spicy egg curry in puff pastry parcels.

Apply this egg mixture on four sides of the puff pastry.

Spicy Egg Puff step by step

  1. Mix yeast with warm water and 1 tsp sugar and keep covered for 10 minutes to activate the yeast..

  2. In a large bowl take maida, egg, sugar, mixed herb, milk and yeast mix..

  3. Knead a dough for 10-15 min and then keep covered for 1 hr in a warm place for proofing..

  4. For the filling heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 min.

Now add the onion slices and saute until translucent..

  1. Add salt, biryani masala, garam masala powder and mix everything well.

Now add the halfed boiled egg pieces. Mix with the masala very well..

  1. Now punch the proved dough to remove extra air.

Take out pieces from the dough. Roll in a square shape..

  1. Cut according to the picture. Place one egg in the centre.

Now fold according to the picture..

  1. Make all the puffs like this..

  2. Preheat oven at 180C for 10 minutes.

Bake the puffs at 180C for 15-20 minutes or turns golden brown..

Back in India, We used to get these puffs in the local bakeries.

Since puff pastry dough are not available in my place, I replaced it with regular bun dough.
