Add turmeric powder and salt.Cover the pan with a lid,and allow it to cook for 10 minutes on a slow flame..

Add cumin powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well..

Add the fried potatoes and cook till all the ingredients are soft. Also add a spoon of sugar and salt.Mix well..

Now add the boiled small brown chickpeas, and cook for 5-7 minutes..

Add the grated coconut now and cook for another 2-3 minutes..
