Big Ol' Mess instructions
-
Prepare a large foil bag using heavy duty aluminum foil by making 2 equal size sheets about 12in x 18in. Place the sheets together and bind 3 of the sides closed by folding and crimping..
-
Place the sausage, peppers and onions in the foil bag..
-
Mix the Tabasco and sweet and sour sauce together in a small bowl and then pour the mixture over the ingredients in the bag. Seal the 4th side of the bag closed..
-
Place bag on grill and cook for 45 min, flipping every 15 min. Be careful with the bag when flipping or you will poke a hole in it and the juices will leak everywhere while cooking. I use my kitchen oven mitts to flip the bag by hand..
-
Once done slice open the bag and serve straight out of the bag with tooth picks as an appetizer (serves about 8 guests), or serve over a bed of plain white rice to make an awesome meal (serves 4)..
