Recipe: Appetizing Pea Sprout & Carrot Salad Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Pea Sprout & Carrot Salad. Pea sprouts are one of my personal favorites. They are sweet, crisp and easy to use in all salads and green protein smoothies. Pea sprouts is the term given to sprouted peas that have small, tender shoots with or without tiny leaves.

Soak Transfer your seeds - if necessary - into your Sprouter, or a bowl.

Pea sprouts are generally used in salads as raw.

But unless you are a Peter rabbit, you can only eat so much of them when raw.

You can cook Pea Sprout & Carrot Salad using 7 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Pea Sprout & Carrot Salad

  1. You need 1/2 bunch of Pea sprouts.

  2. It’s 5 cm of Carrot.

  3. Prepare 6 of Imitation crab sticks.

  4. It’s 1/2 tbsp of Shio-koji.

  5. It’s 1 tsp of Lemon juice.

  6. You need 1 of Salt and pepper.

  7. Prepare 1 of Sesame oil (for finishing).

Try saute them very quickly in a little oil, and flavor with sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds.

Garlic pea sprouts are made by steaming young pea plants that haven't formed peas yet.

There are many other vegetables that are served in a "young shoot" style like gai lan choy or bok choy.

Fresh pea sprouts have an amazing flavor.

Pea Sprout & Carrot Salad instructions

  1. Julienne the carrots and place them in a heat-resistant container. Cover the container with cling film and heat for 1 minute 30 seconds at 500 W. Leave the carrot to cool in the cling film..

  2. Slice the pea sprouts into 3-4 cm bite-sized pieces and dress with 1/2 teaspoon shio-koji..

  3. Break apart the crab sticks and cut them in half. Please refer to my recipe "How to Quickly Break Up Crab Sticks!!!"

  1. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon lemon juice over the cooled carrots and add them to the bowl from Step 2 together with the crab sticks..

  2. Drizzle some sesame oil over the salad if youd like, and taste. If the flavour is too weak, adjust it with salt and pepper. It's ready to serve!.
